Statement

By performing in public spaces, I craft events that contribute to the minutia of other people’s lives. I use the invasiveness of language to interrogate the boundaries of shared experiences, as in the established channels of status updates, signage, ad solicitation, and telephone calls. In these moments of engagement and voice, my work reveals insights into more elusive, nonverbal arenas such as intimacy and spirituality.
